An Update on Moviestruck (Don’t worry, it’s all good!) (Patreon)

Hi Patrons,

First off, thanks for all your support for the pod. It truly is because of you all that I get to talk about films with an astounding range of people, and I’m forever thankful to you for that. You may have noticed the last few months I’ve been a bit slow updating the Patreon reviews, and that is because of a few special projects I’ve been working on that I’d like to tell you a little about!

Up first, this May Moviestruck is going to do it’s first ever event month, Shyamalanathan! For all of May, every episode will cover one of M. Night’s many films, and to make sure we’re going as deep as we can into that filmography, Moviestruck will be releasing episodes weekly. That’s two extra podcasts available in May for everyone to enjoy (and have Shyamalan inflicted upon them!) I’ve never done a themed month before, and am excited to see how this goes as I’d love to do more in the future. I hope you all enjoy the extra Moviestruck!

Second, June will see the return of the Patron Drive! Folks who joined us last time will remember that this drive was a one-month event where, provided enough new Patrons joined us, we released two extra bonus episodes, Morbius and Cats. Once again there will be two goals, and two new episodes available to Patrons first if we hit those goals. If we hit the first, Blue and Noir will be back for Bionicle 3: Web of Shadows (2005), and if god forbid we reach the second, Austin is diving back into the Sony villains-verse for Madame Web (2024). Regardless of if we reach one or any of these goals, I appreciate all of your support, and I hope you’ll continue to listen and enjoy! The drive kicks off June 1st, so stay tuned for more details as we get closer to then.
