Yo shoutout to this community for pushing so hard for this show. I started watching it while the girls were watching Haikyuu because I knew it was next…recently finished it and HOLY PEAK FICTION 😮‍💨🔥 sadly probably not something i woulda ever watched had it not been for everyone here since it was just not on my radar…grateful af 🙏🙏🙏

The comparison with Azula really sticks with me. Eva really is Azula if she had grown up with the Fire Lord as her father until her mid-twenties. Burning down the house is such a firebender move too. The only thing missing was lightning strikes at the end :D

I want to force people who say that to watch One Piece or Naruto's final action arc so they learn what filler is. If an episode is about the character and his development, then that's not filler!

Lunge's conclusion that Tenma has a double personality is perfectly reasonable when you consider i. That Tenma seems to be a genuinely good man but ii. All the evidence points to him and iii. He keeps blaming it on a person who seemingly does not exist and of which no record can be found. Couple that with Lunge's complete self-assuredness and perfect record as a detective (the mistaken belief that he is an infallible machine) and ... Well, let's just say you guys will have to give him a break.

Eva really is one of the best characters that we have in Monster. She's definitely in my TOP 5 along with Tenma, Johan, Anna and another character who hasn't appeared yet, so I won't mention his name for now.

Eva, Lunge, Dieter, I can tell you now there's not a single dull character on this show, not to mention there's more to come. I'm so excited to see your journey with all of them because each character is fully realized with their own arc. The writing on this show is peak.

Eva's character is such a good surprise. When I started the show, I did not expect it to focus on her or for her character writing to be this good. But I think she is so captivating in every scene we see of her. I also really love the Voice Acting for her character.

I don't know what version they're watching but damn they're missing out on some great OST's that truly elevates the scene. Is there any way of showing them a better version that they have access to?

This is actually the original version that they are watching. You are likely thinking of the international OST, which is my personal favorite as well, likely because it is the first version I watched. That has the track "What do I see" in the spot where Eva breaks the present and burns her house down.
