I hope you guys continue loving this show! I reread it after your reactions and I watched the anime and skipped the action bits. It's a much more rewarding experience to me to focus on the characters. I don't feel the urge to rush into the next climactic scene unlike when I first started the anime and manga, as that's what I thought csm was "good" for. I'm hopeful for the rest of your reactions and the Reze arc movie! I'm thankful for your reactions because I feel your emotions for the characters end up gravitating towards me and I end up caring more as well. Anywho, have a good one.

Obviously Denji and Power are a Dumb and Dumber duo but it's actually so funny how much more "domesticated" Denji is in comparison to Power; he's almost on the same side as Aki lol. Then you've got Aki embodying the desperation of a single mom trying to retain his last sane cell with these goobers

My kitty has to stay at the vet for a few days because he's got pancreatitis, this episode really hits the spot for me right now emotionally :') however insane Denji and Power are through their shared love of animals you know they've got hearts of gold

In my opinion denji didn’t really realize why he was saving power. It wasn't really about fondling her chest. He just doesn’t understand himself. Btw a moment I especially liked was makima recognizing the change in aki.

It's fun how there's been a streak of animes with found families. Frieren (although that's an adventuring group, but I still think it counts), Cowboy Bebop and now this. Definitely not complaining though lol, found families are prob my favorite character dynamic :)
