Don't worry about skipping an episode. Just move forward. This never happened. It will shock you how much it never happened :)

My favorite episode of the season. They can never make me hate this show because of episodes like this 🥹

Can't believe I said Sydney got a haircut when she just got her hair did. I even grew up with Black women who got braids done every few months 😭 this is my white shame 😞🧍🏼‍♀️ (best episode of the season btw)

Sydney’s cousin leaving for a long period of time just to get hair, and ending up coming back with multiple things is very funny and accurate😅 My favorite episode of the season!

Jay Craig

Gave up on the season about halfway through this episode, will finish it off eventually

I can already see future Patreons asking where The Bear 4x05 is 😂

Mrs Berzatto, who cares? The Japanese have a saying, a chef is whoever is in this kitchen and right now, Chef Carmy is in this kitchen...

This episode was co-written by Ayo Edebiri (Sydney) and Lionel Boyce (Marcus). It was directed by Janicza Bravo, a Black writer/director (Zola among others). The hairdresser cousin Chantal was played by Danielle Deadwyler, she played Miranda in Station Eleven (that's where I know her from at least). This was my fav episode of the season, I love little slice of life stuff and having Ayo and Lionel write it was very smart + made it feel authentic, especially in the context of a show about running a "fancy" restaurant in River North (Chantal even slyly comments on it this ep).

Considering that Sydney is black, the girl is more likely her niece. Of what you said so far about Serbian families it's the same for black people at least for me haha the children of my cousins are my nephews, they called me tata / aunt. And I'm only calling them cousins because I'm french too so it's like that here but for my mom who is 100% black her cousins are her brothers and sisters like you.
