i hope we don't let LM know the episode number to stop at or ask them to watch next 3 together...they are too perceptive and can see the plot coming from a mile away...part of the issue is they keep asking for it 😭...lets bring back the attack on titan days when we got iconic ending reactions like 2*07 to cliffhangers

German police in the 1990s and even more today are highly restrained with firearms compared to the U.S. Officers undergo about three years of training before active duty and then serve a probationary period for several more years. Lethal force is permitted only as a last resort, for example, to prevent an immediate and serious threat to life. If the suspect had actually pointed a loaded pistol at Detective Braun, the shooting would almost certainly have been judged lawful self-defense, regardless of the fact that the suspect was under 18. That said, officers who kill someone, even in clear-cut cases of self-defense, often struggle with PTSD, guilt, and recurring flashbacks, and many require counseling. It’s not uncommon for them to leave the force voluntarily or to retire early on medical grounds. Alcohol abuse would also have been taken seriously. If an officer was known to have a drinking problem, suspension or mandatory therapy could follow, especially if their behavior had negatively affected an operation, even if their actions were ultimately deemed justified.

I think it depends. I remember how the reaction to Violet Evergarden episodes 8 and 9 was disappointing for both of them, because they had to get back into the difficult emotional state in which episode 8 ended. It has to be a mix.
