I have this weird feeling this guy might be the previous roommate. He could have pressured Erika into it. In which case, if this becomes fact, I’ll be happier to see the horrible fate that obviously awaits him.

If we take the second artbook to be fact and not a joke the first roommate was Jago himself. I think Erika started dating this guy after Artur moved in, if you look at #8 of the original strips, Erika is wearing a familiar bra and talking to a guy online over a game who suspiciously looks like the dickhead boyfriend.
