Unrealistic? Heh. All they did to the female character was indeed making them fatter. Making their legs shorter or breasts smaller - or even hair weaker - I could understand. But the only modification was the removal of the waistline.

It's true, to a point. They can look unrealistic. On the other hand, many of the heroines in these games are either very, very active or live in a time and place where corseting was widely practiced.
