Read that quote a couple of times before, but I can't get it at all. What does that mean?

Well, the actual quote is "The pot calls the kettle black," and is a way of calling someone a hypocrite. Another phrase/expression of calling someone a hypocrite is "Look who's talking?" Hope this helps :-)

The only part of human potential that is truly infinite is our capacity for hypocrisy and self delusion.

Pots were more often a dark color like cast iron or were soot covered from fire. Kettles were more likely to be copper or tin coated and usually would have a certain level of shine. So the saying refers to either a dark pot commenting on a small amount of soot on a mostly clean kettle, or what's more likely to the dark pot seeing it's own reflection in the shiny kettle accidentally calling out the pot's own issues.
