Agreed! Many people think men are clueless, but honestly it's really just fear. Even if a guy thinks that a girl might like him, he hesitates to act on it because the reward for being right is great, but the punishment for getting it wrong can be embarrassing and painful (which especially applies here considering the threat he got when he first arrived).

Too bad the women can't take the chance of rejection if they ask him and he turns them down. That tends to be the first thing out of many lady's mouths; "Why don't they ask me? Are they afraid I'll say no?" and part of why they often choose scum these days - the scum have nothing better to do in between Meth highs and crimes/prison. That's also part of why most marriages were arranged until very recently - kids are STUPID and well even smart people can be stupid. They should just sit down with him and talk about it without putting him on the spot - then later he'll be horny through the roof and ready. Sitting next to him, talking about it - that creates a chemical exchange. Right now he's in self-defense subconsciously turned it off. I mean - this is a silly cartoon but way too real.

Thank you. They gave him Hardcore outlined [plus chalk(double entendre)] rules. There was no HINT there. If Sophie wants more from Arthur, she needs to be just as Hardcore (double entendre again) & HINT-free in specifically rescinding the initial dictum - (ala Peter Griffin): "Hehehehehe, I said dict-um." 😜

Arthur is bound by the ground rules set by Sophie. She saying he’s clueless but really he’s obeying the rules. We’ve seen him loosen up a bit with them and both girls don’t mind it (rather they like it more). But too not lose a strong relationship with either of them, he’s made up his mind to not make it awkward for them by having to choose between them. A respectful decision with a major downside I’m afraid. But we shall see where their relationship(s) go in the future.
