Or maybe that's his preference that he never got to flesh out from the beginning. Art constantly evolves, after all. You may not realize it, but all you're doing is pushing your preference onto his. If you don't like it, then just feel nostalgic for earlier art.

your artstyle is getting a little unpleasant. you are using a lot of hard lines when you used to use a lot of soft curves. by giving all of your characters lined stomachs it kinda makes them unattractive. i recommend you compare early erika with this picture. you will notice that the breasts look much more realistic in the earlier one and she doesn't look half pregnant all the time.
