I love that you included the creepy hands thing! I went down the rabbit hole of AI art for a month, and it definitely doesn't make you an artist, it makes you a technician/supervisor at best (or a monkey with a typewriter at worst). Model files, LORAs, VAEs, ControlNet, Hypernetworks... then guiding with seeds, positive and negative prompts, samplers, upscaling... ugh. In the end I keep it on my PC as a convenient upscaler/smoother for wallpapers, it can enlarge/clean-up/stylize badly compressed or low-resolution files better than any graphics program filter.
