"User has chosen Option B … rerouting power …" The options were marked alphanumerically, though. Now I can see Mia just using the two interchangeably, as is human habit, but I think it should either be labeled and options A) and B) initially, or it should be clearer that the system is smart enough to recognize and understand that human trait. Maybe adding something like "[...] Recognizing 'Option B' specified by user as 'Option 2' [...] "

So the newbie tip said not to upgrade your class until you merged it with a second class. Which means Mai just crippled herself. Unless I am missing something important.

Not really? It’s just that the process of how that works hasn’t been explained yet, but she isn’t crippling herself. Mia knew how that works, but ignored the option to pick a Class Selection Token during the Rank Up, which she would have needed if she wanted a second class to merge her current one with. Also, she can do it with the next Rank Up too, since she can merge a Tier 1 Class into a Tier 2 Class and the result would be a Tier 2 Class all the same. What she did give up on, was actually changing her Class permanently. She could have picked a second Class and used the Tier Up token on that, then she could have removed her Arcane Mage Class if she wanted with one of those Primary Skill Removal Tokens.
