These crystals have been studied for millenia now, yet nobody knows their true origins. Some say that they may have been grown on the backs of gargantuan beasts and upon their demise, became part of this planet's ecosystem.

Some inhabitants think of the crystals contain godly powers will often chip away at them, using them in healing rituals. Others harvest them purely for monetary gain.

I wonder what the Crystallographers here are trying to ascertain here? Will you assist them in their research? Could any of these crystal monsters still live on the planet? You may find out soon enough.
