Damn, they gave too many clues as to what Cyphers’s powers were. They should’ve kept it a little bit closer to the vest so the big reveal at the end would be more of a shock and also make people still wonder how he’s doing what he’s doing but either way it’s still a pretty cool power being able to pup it all the way from his house.

If I had to guess based on what they showed, Cypher is actually godoken in the chamber. He is controlling the "Cypher" body who is a human and able to also control jordan. No clue how he controls them though.

I think Cypher is being controlled by the man in the chamber. I think it's Godolkin. He has the ability to control blood. Blood fuels every cell in the human body. Being able to control blood means you can control someone and even know their thoughts. He was burnt in the science experiment in the first episode and needs his own body. So he tried creating a blood bender in Marie.

Hamish is such a massively underrated character actor, hopefully with this and Midnight Mass, he starts getting more main stream roles! Also Cipher is Godolken's son, he probably had a breakthrough and experimented on his own son to have the powers the way he does.

Aaaah, I wish Kate just didn't overplay her hand. Cipher was so clearly off balance and almost ready to admit to something at least through coded language, but she had to blurt out, "You're human" to push him. And then exposing that it came from Marie. That was so frustrating! Not that I'm upset with the writing, it's not like I expect Cate to be that smart.
