Always love seeing another person agree with the most justified crashout in existence. Not sure how you prefer to get recommendations , but you should take a look at the show Reacher. It has similarly great combat scenes. You'd probably really enjoy it.

Love the reaction/commentary. Love this movie and series, in the club scene the director used red light to signify the guards in a safe area and used blue light to show john's area. So when guards walk into blue light they die to john, you can see Viggo's son in blue light at the bath house meaning john could've killed him but chose not to. I find it interesting how the director chose to make this movie, can't wait for the next movie.

I went in blind to the movie in the theater with friends. When they killed the dog a lady up towards the front of the theater screamed "Oh hell no, kill them!" It's worse, they didn't move Daisy, she dragged herself to John. You can see the trail of blood. Aurelio didn't call John, John knew where to go and Aurelio knew John was going to come. The Director was a stuntman, stunt coordinator, 2nd unit Director before getting to be a Director for this.

Some character dumbness for the sake of extending the movie aside, this film is pretty close to perfect, and I really can't think of better in the genre. There was a John Wick video game called John Wick: Hex, but it made like zero impact because it was a turned based strategy puzzle kind of game and nobody wanted that from a John Wick game. It apparently wasn't even bad, but there was like so little audience interest.

there is a video game, its John Wick Hex. it got delisted due to liscensing issues though. You can still find physical copies for switch though.

So about New Jersey. I've lived here for 42 years and I got to say a few things about it. I always get sad we got a bad wrap from some invading new yorkers. Honestly NJ has some of the most beautiful places in the country, as we have the very worst cities. Our cities are utter trash heaps, but when you get out into the more rural and country side you can find a lot of pretty places.

I'm sure it's been said before but, Keanu trained with real gun range and shoot speed contest to do this role. There a few videos of him practicing with loading, firing, and how to do all the gun techniques. When he runs out of ammo and the hammer clicks, how he pulls out an extra clip. Etc

Interesting thing about John Wick. It Flew pretty well under the radar when it first came out. It Did well in box office. And it was well received. But It only really became gerne altering title it turned into after it made it to video. Most the people I know did not see it till I showed them it on DVD. And I borrowed THAT from my dad on a whim. Basicly by the time it got to video release is when it was really starting to gain traction to the point that it became one of the Hotest action movie Franchises.

and because she broke the rules, tried to kill john while he slept in a business free zone because the money was high enough (though in later movies it was much much higher) and helped kill johns best friend. She also represented the "powerful bitch" archetype where a strong female presence is overshadowed by her completely awful personality. Also its a cool scene lol
