Funny you should say Yizma looks like a zombie, in the original version of the script she was a necromancer trying to sacrifice Kuzco (actual descendant of the sun god) to the god of darkness, in return for eternal youth.

I have seen this movie dozens of times and ONLY NOW noticed the plant next to Yzma became a Llama after she poured her poison wine in it.

Mr.Faded

Should definitely do "Atlantic" I love that movie

Kuzco is actually Joffrey minus the killing. At least his not aware of it. Come to think of it, I guess that's much worse. LMAO

Adam Burrows

We all love Kronk, he's just the best guy

This movie really is unique in a lot of ways. The everyman hero and the villainous despot have to team up to thwart the comic relief, and form a bond along the way. Love it.

"I think this was made in the year 2000" I had to fact check that immediately and now I feel old as dirt

While the movie is good, its production hell is even more interesting. Ever notice how the credits music of that doesn't fit in the slightest? It's a slow, thoughtful song performed by Sting. That's because production of it started way back when The Lion King was released, as "Kingdom of the Sun", inspired by Incan creation myths and a retelling of the Prince and the Pauper... Over time, however, with how poorly Pocahontas performed, the execs weren't willing to go for the story, and claimed the idea was too ambitious. (Might have been, who knows.) Eventually, executives took the two creative leads and had them do a "bake off" to throw something together to be out by the summer of 2000. Even then, it wasn't Emperor's New Groove yet, it was "Kingdom *in* the Sun". Everything from Yzma's villain song "Snuff out the Light", a love song from Prince Manco (not Kuzco) "One day she'll love me", so much was cut out over time until 1999 when they finally knew what they were doing... Giving them little more than a year to make this thing. Basically, it's a miracle this movie even happened. And this is just a SUMMARY of it all, the whole story from 97 to 2000 is just a roller coaster you definitely should look into!
