Alicia if you notice, every Gem (even Steven) has had a DIFFERENT MUSICAL INSTRUMENT associated with them in the background soundtrack, and now when Opal fuses Pearl's and Amethyst's instruments PLAY TOGETHER in harmony! (Hence a dual meaning to "Steven, be sure to keep the harmony." between those two from Garnet)

"Giant Woman" is the episode that got me HOOKED on the show. Learning about Fusion, GREAT Amethyst & Pearl moments, and Opal. Goddamn I love Opal. The bow helps. But also, that moment where Steven realizes that... yeah. Opal is a different person. A stranger, essentially. And she comforts him by singing his song ^^ That song was stuck in my head for more than a week, btw :p Also, the fact that Garnet BROUGHT a rock with her for Steven, says so much about her character. She knows that everything Alicia covered about Steven just wanting to know she thought about him, and probably went out of her way to bring him *something*. So fucking sweet <3
