Man and so many people hated on Deku when he said he wanted to save Shigaraki when he never said he would absolutely save him he acknowledged Gran Torino saying sometimes you can only save someone by ending them and Deku never said he wouldn't end Shiggy just he wanted to save him idk maybe I'm biased cuz Superman is my favorite hero but I feel Deku would definitely get Supes seal of approval

ngl the 3 best moments imo in this season gotta be Final Boss Bakugo ofcourse and maybe more of a oddball but the 2 times we see Invisigirl popping off cuz her team up with Aoyama was onpoint along with incredible voice acting

going through this last year through the manga and again this year through the anime has been such a cool experience, glad the anime has made the ending a lot more posative with anime fans then the origional negative twitter fans. I think Deku's "destroy you did" could also be a reference to how the problematic past hero society was also "destroyed"

Ah yes, the sunrise countdown arc of my hero academia, except instead of stalling time for the sunrise, they stall so Deku can finish the guy

Izuku's first Smash was in the entrance exam, when he saved Ochako. Deku's last Smash was here, when he saved the world. And if you watch them side by side, you'll notice that his punch has never changed since then - it's the exact same form as when he first swung his fist to protect another person.

I usually hate the trope of the villain secretly being responsible for everything (Bleach, I'm looking at you). However, this time it doesn't feel like making it up whole cloth: it feels like it both fits the way AFO operates, and it justifies why Decay is purely destructive with no upside. From the first moment we get AFO as just the 'Sound Only' master, he's seen to be grooming Shigaraki. He was right there for Shigaraki immediately after Decay destroyed his family. It's not dissimilar to what he tried with Dabi. It actually fits, in a way that doesn't rewrite the lore, but fills the holes.
