Hulk 2008 was always canon, Alicia lol. Its part of the MCU and always has been.

Pell D. indestructible

Yay Marvel is back, this one did piss me off, it's straight up a Hulk movie with no Hulk

Azaxul

Wolverine is another universe. There is no X-Men in the main universe.

Phantom Penance

Ugh the after-credits scene still annoys me. You’re telling the guy who fought ALIENS twice that there are threats from other worlds coming?? What tipped you off Sherlock?!

Matthew Newton

4 minutes in and we're talking about Sly Cooper. Pimpin. I really wish they would give us a new game, or a remaster. I played it recently and it still really, really holds up, narrative and gameplay wise

Phantom Penance

Also, I was really enjoying Marvel going a more political/crime thriller route with their content, I was hoping that they might take Sterns from this movie, Power Broker, the Ten Rings from Shang-Chi, and start forming their own Cabal criminal organization.

general ross now president ross was the guy who would hunt the hulk. also just a little rant, I have been waiting for the red hulk to be used for so long and now they use him as a throw away character for 4-5 min and never again.

Michael

I will not stand for the John Walker slander, he was a great Cap.

Caison

never thought i'd see the day that Alicia is the one to explain the marvel lore, we've come so far...

Okoga

Good choice to bring Ant in on this movie, made it bearable for me. So sick of mind control.

Just Curious do you plan on watching marvel animated stuff like x-men 97, Spectuar spiderman, Averagers earth mightest heroes, etc.?

crazy-dwarf0

2008 Hulk has always been canon, they just switched actors between that movie and the first Avengers movie.

SquaredSpekz

I have no idea why they thought it was a good idea to bring up plotlines everyone forgot from the skippable MCU film.

This is another one of those movies that when I first saw it I wasn't a fan. I was really upset that this wasn't a hulk movie (I still think it should have been, Stern AKA the Leader and the red hulk are iconic hulk villains and to not have him fighting them hurts a little). That being said watching it again, a lot of the things I thought were ok the first time or didn't even really pay attention to started to stand out to me a lot more. I think another reason I didn't like it was the timing too. Having a president being the focus and having the election and stuff at the start coming out not long after the actual presidential elections that, to me, were not good. Also having one of the main Characters be Israeli not too long after that whole situation kicked off at the time felt a bit like a miss step. Now though those don';t bother me as much, the sting is still there but there has been enough time for it to not be as much of a drain of my enjoyment of this movie

I hear a lot of people say that there is a no killing rule among MCU heroes but that's not true, and in many early films (first example that comes to mind is Iron-Man's combat scenes) they are straight up killing people, Cap was a soldier during WW2 and we see him fighting alongside Bucky, shooting people, Thor is a WARRIOR prince of Asgard. Don't get me wrong their not murder hobos, and they do make a point of having people survive some pretty lethal attacks or making a point of knocking people out but I don't think any of them have ever claimed a no kill rule except Spidey? (And even that was thrown out vs aliens in Endgame)

Immeasurably Me

Alicia been off the MCU so long she thinking that xmen and wolverine have been in it forever and forgetting what different universes are.

Juanma

Man I completely forgot she hadn't been doing MCU

Scrubthulhu

The actor for Thaddeus Ross who Harrison Ford plays passed away in 2022.

Lance Ivy

its okay as the presdent of the united states red hulk only needs aproval to build on white house grounds he can tear down anything he wants

Lance Ivy

can we get congressman barns to please get his ass 2 miles up pensivania ave please

KuroOberon

i know im pretty late to this, but 2008 hulk movie was always canon, mark ruffalo was a recast for bruce banner but it didnt erase the movie in any way.

Kevin Bartelen

Adamantium has in fact NOT been around for a long time Alicia. Not in the universe that that MCU mostly takes place in anyway. The X-Men, Deadpool, and adamantium are all in another part of the multi-verse that this world has not yet had contact with (unless you count Deadpool interviewing with Happy, but h didn't have any adamantium on him) The Deadpool And Wolverine movie was literally about Deadpool being asked to join the main MCU world and then ultimately rejecting the offer in order to save his own world. So this adamantium thing is new to them here.

J.U.N.E.S

I’m excited for the Thunderbolts reaction, it was one of my favorite movies in the last few years of the MCU

Artemis

I think my 2 main complaints for this movie is the villains design because in the comics he is supposed to have a huge kinda vegapunk looking head. And I'm not a fan they made red hulk an out of control rage monster like regular hulk when red hulk is supposed too just be himself but bigger and red basically when he hulks out
