The one thing with Gordon is he will bring his brother into things often and push families to be like his and keep sending the family to rehab but he doesnt understand not every addiction story is like his families. Sometimes that bridge does get burned. Sometimes you do get burned out from watching them make the same choices over and over. Sometimes the person addicted doesnt want to get better and watching that hurts too much.

Oy, the sad thing about his burger delulu is that if Wendys can do it, he could do it. You can use refrigerated trucks, not frozen, REFRIGERATED. Store the beef in an above frozen refrigeration storage unit. I don't mind storing my own burger patties in the freezer so they last longer, but if I go to a restaurant and see "FRESH" on the menu, I expect it to be made in-house and not frozen. Only place I don't trust "FRESH" on the menu is Subway.

Yeah something I kind of noticed with his shows is he seems to try pushing every family to try being together. Making up and being together is a nice story, but sadly reality is bridges burn (like you said) and sometimes for your own sake you need to separate. I didn’t have family but my Mom had a partner who kept falling back into being addiction despite getting help. It took that partner to hurt my younger brother for her to realize she had to separate to protect us despite her loving him.

I will say for the black light part is that stains can still show up even after a thorough cleaning. So while I don't believe him on a lot of the stuff in this, he may not actually have been lying about the blankets and things being cleaned the week before. Stains don't really go away.

As someone whos basically no-contact with their sister, I get pressured constantly by my parents to contact her (she's never contacted me either). It's so frustrating to not be heard or respected, so I totally got Alicias frustrations with Gordon's meddling in this episode. If they're no-contact, respect it damn.

even many bars I've been to will allow kids inside. Obviously not to drink, but they'll be allowed to sit indoors and drink soda. It's insane to have a hotel with that rule.
