Two 'Mommy Issues' episodes in a row. Which is extra sad when you think about how Steven can't have one :/ "Catch and release" is another of my all-time favourite episodes. It's so much funnier than it needs to be and Ilove that ^^

At least we know steven doesn't see the gems as sisters but more like step moms/aunts(?) I think his yearning for that more parental relationship out of love rather than grief is one of the more interesting things about his character

I have mixed feelings about Sadie's mom. On the one hand I love how she unquestioningly throws herself into support shady to the max of her ability. On the other hand I hate how, when she does that, she basically crushes Sadie under the weight of her personality.
