I wanna point out the following: back in page 338, Aika ALSO broke a chair. Now, the key difference here is that THAT chair was carrying not only Aika, but Saiya on top of her. If we assume most chairs in the kipverse can carry roughly the same amount of woman, this means Aika, since then, has put on a FULL SAIYA in weight. She has ate SO MUCH in these ~200 pages, she has put on the weight of an ENTIRE ADULT WOMAN (albeit a small one). I'm having a hard time typing this out bc it's so hot... 🗿

A lot of those shots are just dramatic forced perspective angles to emphasize how much fatter aika is compared to Tessa and by extension how much bigger aika is as plus with Tessa being a mental mess right on top of kneeling before aika yeah she's gonna look huge. Or maybe I'm reading too much into this and aika is actually growing taller because she maxed out on fat.
