A dream... after the battle SuperLex wins again and do this: When the light faded, Superman was no longer the invincible titan everyone knew. He now stood barely three centimeters tall. His strength, his invulnerability, even his ability to fly were gone. He was just a tiny man in a blue suit and red cape, while the very wind threatened to sweep him away. In front of him, gigantic like a colossus. Superman tried to shout, to resist, but his voice was barely a whisper in the vast world that now surrounded him. SuperLex leaned down, his eyes gleaming with wicked satisfaction. "Look where your naivety has brought you, Kal-El. For years, you thought you were the strongest, the noblest. And now... now you are nothing more than an insect at my feet. While I... I am the new God of Metropolis. No, of the entire world." The former Man of Steel lunged at the gigantic sole of SuperLex’s shoe, desperately trying to strike it, but his punches had no power left. It was as if he were trying to topple a mountain with a pebble. SuperLex laughed and, with an almost dismissive gesture, picked him up with two fingers, examining him with the amusement of a child observing an ant before crushing it. "You see, Superman, your existence was only a matter of time. Now it’s up to me to bring order to this world. Finally, humanity will have a worthy ruler. And you... well, I’m still deciding whether to crush you now or keep you in a glass jar. You know, as a trophy." But then, an even crueler idea dawned on SuperLex. He looked at the tiny Superman in his hand and laughed. "What better place for you than under my foot, as a constant reminder of who the true ruler is?" With excruciating slowness, he opened his boot and dropped the little Superman inside. "In there, you'll feel every step I take, every victory I claim, and you'll know your time is over. Enjoy the view, Kal-El." SuperLex slid his boot back on, pressing his foot firmly against the ground, savoring the moment of his total and ultimate revenge. Every step of SuperLex was a nightmare for Superman. The pressure crushed him against the insole, the heat and sweat enveloping him in an oppressive prison. Every movement was torture, every vibration a reminder of his defeat. The entire world now ignored him, while his arch-nemesis walked gloriously through the streets of Metropolis, admired and feared. SuperLex couldn’t contain his joy. Every time he felt the tiny body of Superman struggle under his foot, a triumphant grin spread across his face. "Oh, Kal-El, I never imagined that stepping on you would be this... satisfying." He laughed, lifting his foot only to lower it again with deliberate slowness, barely crushing what remained of the hero who had once dared to challenge him. Time passed, and Superman became a forgotten prisoner, a mere plaything for the new ruler of the world. While Metropolis applauded its new champion, the true hero lived his miserable existence in the most humiliating shadow possible. And so, with every step of SuperLex, the last memory of Superman was slowly erased from history.
