As soon as I arrived at the tower’s main shop, I was greeted by a few curious looks from some of the customers. I returned their greetings and headed to Hephaestus’s room. I didn’t knock on the door—I simply walked in without warning.

As soon as I entered, Hephaestus’s eyes fell on me.

“You’re back sooner than I expected.”

“There wasn’t much to do. I ran into that group from the Loki Familia—Ais’s group.”

“Hmmm… and?” Hephaestus looked at me suspiciously.

“No need to be jealous. I only had a light conversation with Tiona. She said she’ll come here soon so we can take care of her weapon.”

“For you to take care of her weapon. You’re the one who made it, so you’re the one who has to maintain it.”

“You could do it too.” I smiled and stepped closer to the desk.

“I could, but you’re much faster. Speaking of that, I have some work for you.” Hephaestus pushed several documents toward me. “These are weapon requests from the Loki Familia and the Freya Familia. There are also requests from the Takemikazuchi Familia. I sorted everything out.”

“How many are there?” I asked as I approached and picked up the documents.

“Three for the Freya Familia, two for the Loki Familia, and three for the Takemikazuchi Familia.”

“So that’s eight weapons in total.”

“Not just weapons—armor as well. There’s also a shield. That’s a lot of items. Do you think you can handle everything today?” Hephaestus asked. “If you can take care of it, that would be great.”

“Are you kidding? Even if my abilities are powerful, I can’t use them like that repeatedly. How many items are there in total? Almost twenty? Impossible.”

That’s the truth—even I have my limits.

I can create fifty or more common items, but when it comes to powerful weapons like these, I think I can create at most fifteen in a single day.

If I were to create a weapon capable of breaking “the world,” I would have to go almost a month without creating anything.

Despite being a powerful god, these are my limits.

However, those limits are known only to me and Hephaestus.

“You already modified Bella’s sword, right? How many items can you make today?”

“Give me two days to finish everything.”

“Alright, two days then.” Hephaestus smiled and blew me a kiss.

“And you? Aren’t you going to do anything?” I asked.

“What do you mean? I’ll take care of the paperwork and sales. Just focus on creating.”

“I wanted to forge something together with you.” I searched my memories—it’s been a long time since we last did that. “It’s been a long time since we forged something together.”

“But forging with you is boring~~” Hephaestus teased. “You create everything almost instantly. There’s nothing I can do to help. I just end up watching.”

I looked at the papers, then at a sword resting nearby.

“Why don’t we forge this together—without using my abilities this time?” I showed her the sword.

“But it’s been a long time since you actually got your hands dirty.”

“Don’t worry. I can still do it just fine. So, shall we do it together?”

“Hmmm…” Hephaestus glanced at the documents on the desk. “I’ll finish this first, then we’ll go to my forge room, alright?”

“Okay. I’ll go ahead and prepare everything.”

“Don’t do anything stupid.”

“I’m still a blacksmith.”

“…” Hephaestus simply smiled at me as I headed toward her forge room.

I’m in love with the blacksmith class, and I’m in love with blacksmithing. I don’t want to just create things using my abilities.

I want to create weapons with my own hands. I want to have fun.

I headed to Hephaestus’s forge room, located within the complex where our home stands—a vast area filled with workshops and shops. The forge that Hephaestus usually uses is right next to our house.

It’s a private room, extremely well equipped.

After some time, I arrived there.

Some members of the Familia saw me enter and looked quite curious, but they didn’t ask what I was doing there. Well, it’s obvious I’m going to use the room to forge something, isn’t it?

I already wanted to start even before Hephaestus arrived. I was excited.

I looked at the high-quality equipment in the room. A top-grade forge, an excellent hammer.

“Everything is perfect.”

I picked up the hammer and gently stroked it.

“I’m the one who made this hammer.”

I created it using my abilities—it was a gift for Hephaestus. The most beautiful hammer in this world. Unfortunately, Hephaestus doesn’t use it very often, since she rarely forges anything.

“I’ll use this today. Maybe later I’ll create an exclusive hammer just for myself. I want to keep forging regularly. Hmm… are the materials here?”

I went to the storage in the room. Inside, there were only materials. If it belonged to another Familia member, there would probably be some flaws here, but Hephaestus makes no mistakes.

“I wanted to use mithril, but there isn’t any here. There’s only iron. The sword I’m supposed to make should be made of mithril.”

I could use my abilities to create mithril or modify the sword after finishing it.

Either way, I’ll end up modifying it in the future, since I can’t forge something that good using only my own hands.

“I’ll use iron.”

Thanks to my experience with games and the memories of this body, it was easy to organize everything and get ready to forge. Just as I was preparing to heat the iron, someone entered the room.

It was Hephaestus.

“You already started? You should have waited for me.”

“I haven’t even heated the iron yet.”

“Iron? Aren’t you going to use mithril?”

“There isn’t any.”

“You could create it.”

“I wanted to try forging with iron. It’s been a long time since I forged anything, so it’s better to use a metal that’s easier to handle.”

“I see.” Hephaestus stepped closer and looked at the blazing fire. “You can continue. I’ll just watch for now. If you make a mistake, I’ll help you.”

“Even if I’m a bit rusty, it’s impossible for me to make a mistake,” I said proudly.

Hephaestus simply smiled and sat down to watch.

Then, slowly, I placed the iron into the fire.

I can’t make any mistakes in front of my wife.
