Arthur probably should have consulted with Brix at least a bit in the personal space about possible tuned Lional might have used. Granted he probably knew more than Brix knew but it might have helped a bit. Still pretty good on him actually managing to survive without the cards and then with little sparks of their effects. But yeah he was way more nuts than I had expected. I suppose it isn't that surprising that she'd put the whammy on him but Penn by comparison seemed much more put together even with the effects on him. The timing of this attack is a bit curious. Either they noticed he was out and about or the Mind Singer is helping in some capacity. He's finally got full magic though I'll be curious what he can do given he doesn't have much in the way of skills. There could be the ones from the recent legendary of course.

An amazing chapter and great story, thank you for your work!

Yay spells finally. Of course the two jackasses finally take action now. They should have just stayed and kept drinking wine. I hope Arthur and Brix rip their cards out

It looks like Arthur and Brix might be about to collect some more legendary cards in a minute 😈

His DAUGHTER?! Oppressed by hive propaganda!? Wow, that guy is messed up. He definitely asked for the smoke but I'm uncertain he deserved it. As for Desmond and Sybil, I'm looking forward to what kind of asinine arguments they have for Arthur.

Something has been bugging me since the descent to the hive minders. They weren’t diseased. Where did they and the dragons and magic actually come from?

If he takes their cards and he doesn't want to put them in his storage space, because it's too magically heavy, he should start using that, Access to a Hidden, place Rare card he got from the Butler.

Only problem im having with all this is that its all too good and I wanna know what's happening next right now 😭

I don’t find the timing to be suspicious. The entire hive was alerted to them going. What I find curious is that they were so defeated before Arthur saved them. They would never stand up for themselves because of what Chester and Blood drop were doing to them. I find it odd that they would turn against their hero to join someone that never cared. Whitaker has been a legendary rider for a good long time and didn’t do a thing to stop what was happening. What’s more…now that Arthur has Chester and Blood drop’s cards they suddenly don’t fear the power?
