This show is so fuckin’ weird. It does come together, eventually, but these early episodes are too mysterious, basically all you can latch onto is vibes.

i thought the conversation to the kids about what happens after death to be amazing. we might obviously have a difference of opinion on the subject but what was said was level headed and real. and right afterwards they were pumped for pancakes, it was no big deal.

Also personally I’d recommend reading the comic before watching breakdowns. The comic is a masterpiece (one of the top 100 novels of all time according to Time Magazine) and the way this show pays homage to it is truly amazing.
