What I read is that he was hit basically in the carotid artery. I saw the video, and I wish I hadn't. It was beyond awful. Married with a 1 yr old and a 3 yr old. No one should die like that regardless of their ideology. His wife and children were there. Plus all of the young people there for the event -- many college aged were traumatized by it. Also, I think, thus far, the one death from the school shooting was the shooter. I think the other victims are still in the hospital. 🙏🏼 I can see the heaviness in your eyes. I think all of us feel it. I slept maybe three hours last night. It's dark dark dark time in our country.

Because anything else I could say would be too heavy, I'll just drop a fun tidbit about a guest actor who showed up in this batch of eps. Dr McKay's dad who came to pick up her son was played by none other than - the actor who played Wormtongue in LOTR!!! I couldn't believe it when I read that, but watching it back again this time I was like, yep - damn, that's him alright! Much love to everyone 💖

One of the Doctor advisors on Episodes 12 and 13, was on duty for the Las Vegas shooting. All of the major casualty stories were based on cases he saw. AND one of the extras on the set had been one of the targets of that mass shooting. The Cast told them to watch out for triggering memories and kept them under their wing. She thanked them and said she knew her boundaries.

Retro note: I think it was Episode 4, but might have been Ep. 3, they had to reshoot the scene a few times when Jenna apologizes to the Bradleys. Very intense and emotional. AND the two actresses playing Doctors Mohan and Santos kept breaking down in Tears!

IIRC, he actually came up with the idea for the slap bracelets and the show was the first place they were implemented and now places have talked about implementing them as well.
