Could not watch 3 episodes today. My eyes got a little tired on me. Don't want to over do it. However I hope you all enjoy these two episodes!!

Ted is such a classic Buffy episode, and pretty well loved. John Ritter absolutely kills this performance! At the time, people were surprised by his performance because he was very famous for comedies. He’s definitely one of the creepiest, scariest villains because like you said, there’s so many people IRL just like him. Single moms in particular need to be SO careful, as certain predators target them specifically for access to their kids. It’s all quite intense. And, here we have Buffy dealing with the ethics of being a slayer—not a murderer with a license to kill. This is a theme she has to continue to tackle as she grows up. What does it mean to have more power than other people? What are her responsibilities in regard to non-supernatural, regular human beings? Love it.

Basically when someone becomes a vampire in the Buffy universe, the demon takes over the body and the soul leaves but when Angel was cursed his soul was returned to his body and all of the memories of everyone his vampire demon self killed are still there so he “remembers” everything

35:50 He was fully aware and actively doing and enjoying everything he did. In the Buffy universe lore, the soul isn’t the essence of who they were as a person, that doesn’t change. The soul is their morality, the innate sense of right and wrong, their conscience. After Angel was cursed with his soul the guilt and regret from his actions all hit him at once. So not only does he remember doing the stuff he did, he remembers having fun with it and taking pride in the suffering he caused, which compounds the aforementioned guilt and regret.
