James winced.  “Don’t call it that.  Also, no.  There aren’t any cops for this side, that we’ve found.  Disturbingly, you are probably the most legitimate authority when it comes down to it; you were actually hired by a government agency, after all.  And you have magic.”  He shrugged, smiling at the detective who was unnerved either that James knew that or that he was so quick to just say ‘magic’ out loud and unironically.  “We’re just here to help.” I feel like James is just...wrong here? The order is the closest thing to a wizard police force, lol. Otherwise, "arresting" the squo agents would just be kidnapping.
