Dad Bundle April 2025: Julien Sugita (Patreon)

This was the reward for April, I didn't get to do a comic because of time constraints and that's gonna be a trend for the dad bundles coming forward.

I did have something sketched out, though! It was going to revisit the original Julien and Darryl comics

A looooot has changed shince I made these, starting with both Darryl and Julien getting redesigns and changes in personality. Darryl wouldn't be this seductive nowadays 😅.

I still want to work on the idea, since it will change the context of these comics!

It's crazy how these characters started as simple concepts for me without much of a personality. Dion Falls was not even close to being a thing. Originally my characters were just the means to draw a hot idea, but at my core I love creating characters and giving them distinct personalities.

Darryl has become slightly more clueless to his sexuality and Julien has become very jaded and cynical. I think it will make for a very interesting clash of personalities in the future.

When I first conceived Roy, he had a crush on Julien and he was also skinnier, since then he's become more of a twunk and way more of a menace. I had a really bad habit of making all the son characters very meek and I think their personalities started blurring for me.

All in all I think I can do more interesting things with Julien like this, where he's a jaded man with frustrated dreams who finds himself wrapped in wacky situations where he gets to bang buff older men 😂
