Friday Updates (3-31-2023) (Patreon)

Woohoo. Friday.

So, I went through my schedule and realized I'm gonna die. Not literally, but figuratively if I try to release 2 stories at a time. I know I can post a story and put it on hiatus, but I don't wanna. Which means I'm shelving the fishing story for now. In a perfect world, I could write 2.5 months of chapters every month. Which would put me ahead. I could alternate between stories, and always have enough chapters to post on both RR and Patreon.

But the world isn't perfect, is it? Depending on how work (my real job) goes, that 2.5 months of chapters quickly devolves into 2 months of chapters. Or 1 month. Oh, free time? What's that? I just write.

Yeah, it's hard as hell getting perspective on a story if you're just always in the weeds with that story. But, whatever. You're not here to read the fishing story, are you? You're here for N&D.

When I get far ahead with writing for N&D (which I will), I'm going to adjust the tiers here so that 3rd tier gets more chapters early. I'll figure out what that means later, but I'll keep that promise.

On to the nuts and bolts. 3rd tier is getting 24,25,26 this week and I'm currently writing 50. Once I can get that gap consistently above 30 chapters ahead, I'll reevaluate the tiers. Gonna take time to ping publishers for N&D 1, and pray to whatever god will listen that they like it. I'm not interested in self-pub because that's a whole boatload of extra work I'm not prepared for.

Well, that's a lot of words but I hope everyone is enjoying the direction of N&D3. 3rd tier get some fun new mechanics to read. Yay!
