Update (Week of 9-8-2023) (Patreon)

Should be a brief update this week.

Nothing new has really happened. Some of my time is now dedicated to making edit changes for the publisher (yeehaw), but otherwise I'm just keeping up with my N&D chapters.

I've wrote a few test chapters for a different story, but that's slow progress. I've combined a lot of things from two top stories on the poll I ran so we'll see how that goes. In like, 6 months lol.

Summon the Great Spirits is now on hiatus here on Patreon. I never wanted to stop writing a story for any reason once it was up, but here we are. I do not have enough time in the week to write it. Writing a few test chapters for a different story is dead easy. Without a schedule I just write them whatever. Once a story goes on a schedule, requiring 9k words a week to keep up, that's when it gets tricky.

I don't know if SGS is done for good, but I am now contractually obligated to work on N&D, so that's where my time goes. The traction SGS got on RR was lackluster and unless it gets a second life down the road, it's likely the story will not continue. One of the first thing I learned when I started writing was to not marry your novels. If it isn't working, stop trying and move on to a different idea. Well, we might be there folks ROFL.
