Update (12-1-2023) (Patreon)

Okay, I'm just going to write a short update this week.

For some reason the holiday season has already descended into madness. I thought it was getting better, giving me more time, but then I got sick. This post is going to be as long as I can stand writing lol. Just feeling not great. Let's go!

So, first... N&D4 is done running as of Friday. I don't have a journal entry for this one, but... I don't know if I care. I might just write it later. I may put it off for however many years it takes for the book to run on Amazon. BIG SHRUG.

I have something of a passion project under way. I'm pretty happy with it, so far. It's a book, obviously, but I'm writing it a lot more like I used to write stuff. This is a much more fun process for me, but it takes forever. I'm working with my wife on this one, so she's doing developmental editing as we go. Big fancy way to say we're brainstorming as we go.

Following that, I have a new rule for new stories. And I may have said this before. No releases until there's a full book. N&D will continue to run as it is. No need to change that.

Speaking of N&D:

I like the way that b5 is shaping up, so far. Almost a fourth of the way through writing it. Oh, one thing I'll say about the new book project. It is HEAVILY connected to the events of N&D book 5, 7 and 8.  And I REALLY don't know if I like the idea of N&D just being over after 8. I'm contractually obligated to do 8, but... Why not more? Once I get closer to 8, I'll see if I can keep going. We'll see!

Anyway, I'm about to pass out. Thank you so, so much for all the support. Without all of the support here, we wouldn't be doing as well as we are!

Oh! Did I forget to mention, there's no break between b4 and b5. Of course there isn't.
