Pretty much the main issue at the moment, and Patreon doesn't have native integrations with anything else.

discord has at least pushed back the deadline until september this year. what you could do is make your games call patreon's API to verify membership/level every time the game is played. it removes discord from the equation completely. i dont know the technical requirements let alone how to do it, but i know its possible because ive seen other creators use a similar system (albeit not in a game....) to verify. basically what the user sees is a button that redirects them to a patreon web page saying that the website is asking for access to view your email and other identifying/verifying account features.

Age verification will almost certainly become mandatory for other platforms and websites as well. Therefore, we might as well just stick with Discord.

Discord is kinda meh. Literally only use it to access perks relating to patron perks. lol

They said they will also be conducting a test in England and be holding on to your information for 7 days to identify people. This has nothing to do with protecting teens and everything to do with controlling what people say. Why do they need some form of ai to also identify if your messages make you sound like a teen. Its all about subtle context now. Replace teen with dissident. England monitors social media but not the other biggest social gathering space of people(discord).
