the proposal scene was perfect, like Casey said "all you need is the girl"

Awesome reaction to a truly epic episode. The last 25 minutes or so of this episode goes down as some of my favourite 25 minutes of television ever. Impeccable writing, music and acting. The dialogue between Chuck and Volkoff in the cabin is awesome. This show's midseason finales and season finales are just amazing every single time. There are so many heartwarming scenes in this episode that happen naturally, between so many different characters too. I think I can probably name 20 different "duos" this episode that has a heartwarming moment. Either if it's Chuck and Sarah, Casey and Alex, Chuck's mum and Ellie or even Awesome and Casey or countless more. The reason why that can happen naturally in such a short amount of time is because the characters are superb, and the writers know how to write their characters and to stay true to them. The fact that Awesome is struggling and Casey can drop some of his life experiences on him to set him straight is just another example of how they USE their characters to further character development. I rarely like the Awesome type of character in shows. The jock type with a good heart or even cliched jock douche types, but Awesome's character is awesome, namely because he isn't always awesome. He sucks at lying and struggles every time he's been thrown into spy situations. And now he got scared about the prospect of becoming a father. It's important to his character because it humanizes him and makes us relate to him. I adore his character. Like Yadubi commented, the proposal is perfect, and it goes back to what Casey indeed said a few episodes ago to Chuck. So, this episode was written like a potential series finale (just like ep 13 in S3 when Chuck shoots Shaw to save Sarah). I think I could go on and on about this episode, but i'm going to stop there. Wonderful reaction!
