The song was a perfect send off. And yes introducing advanced, disruptive technology can destabilize a civilization. I do strongly disagree with the Marxist nonsense that the "rich" would seize these technologies for their personal gain. Trying to demonize the successful in order to incite class warfare is ridiculous. But aside from that I did really love the show.

The show wasn’t cancelled per se, it’s just that Seth is continuously busy with things like Family Guy and a thousand other things he writes and produces, but he has said that the door is not yet closed on S4, they are still very much willing to do it and we could still see it happen in a few years. Although, if they do it, I do hope they film it back to back with a S5. My top favorite sci-fi show of all time is Farscape, but I do believe that this season is the best season of any sci-fi show ever put to screen, perhaps of any show, period. I hope one day you can watch Farscape, I consider it the best sci-fi show ever made, if not just the best show, with the best characters ever written on television. You’d love it.

This is exactly like how Peacemaker ended and I loved it in both instances whilst most of the fandoms hated it. I truly believe that James Gunn and Seth McFarlane are two of the best writers and creative minds in Hollywood, currently. They know how to navigate characters and stories in the right ways, they know when to be bombastic and when to slow down and just revel in the emotions and the moments of it all. Great writing, the whole way through, on both counts. I do hope we get more from this world in the future.
