Notice: Taking a Break & Request Info (Patreon)
Content
Hello everyone,
First of all, I want to sincerely apologize.
Last month saw a significant increase in first-time requests,
and on top of that, I experienced some health issues, which prevented me from completing all the requests.
As I’ve continued running this project, the workload has gradually increased, and I also began feeling pressure to keep improving the quality of my work. This disrupted the balance between work and rest, leading to severe lack of sleep and physical exhaustion. Eventually, both my creative work and daily life began to suffer.
Despite making multiple announcements and gathering feedback to revise the rules, I’ve been struggling to manage everything properly. At this point, things have gone beyond what I can handle alone, and I feel that if I keep pushing myself like this, it could lead to more serious consequences.
So, I believe it’s finally time for me to take a step back.
I’m currently considering several options:
Introducing the limitation for the number of "Heavy warith" tier through patreon's feature
I'm not sure how this feature will work. If I apply this feature,
The request can be exclusive for only few people.
Also, it will be hard for me to refuse once this feature is applied. So far I've never rejected fully, and I've just asked them to change the request if it is impossible to do.
I was considering this feature with deep considerationSimplifying the quality of requests (doodle style)
I've told to change to dooldle style but, I have having struggle with changing my drawing style & keeping the quality of reqeust drawing. So, I want to change the arts to doodle style for all requests for real. There won't be number limint for the number of pepople who can be Heavy warith tier But, HQ arts will be rare except for the Lardyrinth seriesFocusing on Lardyrinth or Requests
The number of requests has clearly grown, but this Patreon was originally created to focus on my original characters. That said, I know some of you support me mainly for the requests. So I’m wondering if it might be better to let go of one rather than try to juggle both—though that does feel like an extreme step.
These thoughts have been weighing on me for a while,
but I haven’t made any final decisions.
Often, I just pushed through thinking, “I’ll try harder.”
Maybe I’m just burnt out right now.
For the time being,
I'm planning to take a break from both Lardyrinth
and this month’s requests to focus on rest and recovery.
I’ll work on the remaining requests from last month as my health allows. I may also post some game fanart or doodles on Twitter.
As for what to do starting in June,
I’d really appreciate hearing your thoughts.
I want to take your feedback into account moving forward.
Thank you so much to everyone who has supported me until now.
