This was a really fun little theory to put together. I touch on the 'canon' thoughts from Dean Deblois, how that might work real world examples, and then some of my own thoughts. Ohh thats an interesting theory, even if the quote isn’t true. When i moved into my old house (the one before the home I’m currently in) we had this pond under a willow tree, so it was always covered in willow leaves and made it completely green. My old dog jasmine (R.I.P) started chasing my cat Jem and upon seeing the pond thought it was grass and tried to run across it. He ended up swimming instead and it happened just as me and my mom were looking at it, deciding what to do with it. It makes me giggle even as I’m writing this.

My first thought was that she was somehow creating an artificial wormhole. But I perhaps am influenced by SF too much. Though portals are a fantasy thing too. Probably wont be the case though.

Probably not. But portals exist within fantasy and are similar enough. Though. Hiccup making sudden leaps in physics for no reason would be pretty fun and we know he's really damn smart. But suddenly getting wormholes may be a bit much. May be an amusing crack fic though.
