"WT" Shimeji. (Patreon)

I've been in an offline mode for the past 2+ days. Was busy working on a "Witch Trainer" Shimeji.

Two days ago I never even heard about the thing. Then, Klyts brought it to my attention... At first I was very skeptical about the whole thing but after I did some research I decided to give it a try. I soon realized two things.

Number one: I really enjoy working on this Shimeji crap.

And number two: just like with developing games - seemingly simple ideas take forever to execute properly. 

Nonetheless I am finally done. Hours on hour of endless tinkering with animations and scripts resulted in the "WT Hermione" Shimeji. I wanted to record a short vid showcasing the thing in action but for some reason my video capture software refuses to see the little things taking over my screen.

Those familiar with Shimeji know that there are countless variations out there, and for the most part they are interchangeable - all you need to do is download the appropriate image set and you can have any character you want taking residence on your screen. This is not the case with this particular Shimeji though. I made a lot of changes in the default code altering Hermione's personality appropriately and adding a extra animations meaning that this image set will only work this code. Any alterations would crash the thing.

And that's about it. Download the file, unpack it, run it and let our little witch keep you company during those long working hours. For the most part this is a SFW shimeji so you should be alright.

Oh, and let me know if you stumble on any bugs or peculiar behavior from the girl. I tested the thing a lot of times but I wouldn't be surprised to find out that I managed somehow miss plenty of bugs, as it often happens.

IMPORTANT: make sure to check "READ ME" file if you're having problems lunching the thing. Also if *EXE file gives you an error try running "Shimeji-ee.jar".

Also this Hermione Shimeji has a rather mellow personality. Sometimes it does get rather aggressive and starts to multiply like crazy. But for the most part Hermione would just study quietly in a corner somewhere, sleep or ride her broom without causing to much havoc.

Well, that's about that. Now I really need to get some rest...
