Got this massage this morning... Seems like I can't receive my money with PayPal anymore... Could be the sum is too big, could be some new limitation implemented by the government that I am not aware of... I will keep you posted. OTL...

Sum is too large(transfer limit is 2k for me), upgrade your paypal account(couple of waiting days) or cut the transferred amount into smaller chunks.

Why use paypal to get your patreon money? Couldn't you just setup and direct deposit into a bank account via patreon?

Sort of off topic, but don't keep large sums in paypal, always withdraw it to a non paypal account or you run the risk of having (all of) your money withheld by paypal.

Oh I know that. You don't need to tell me to be paranoid, that's my default setting. I don't trust PayPal one bit. The second I get the money I withdraw it to my bank account.

The option works only for US residents. Unfortunately PayPal is the only option for international creators.

Glad you were able to figure out the situation, or at least find a temporary fix for it. Could Patreon send money through Stripe? Stripe is a safe way to handle money like Paypal. Maybe if we rally some people to write the admins of patreon to consider the option for future relations? It may not happen anytime soon, but we could at least try to get them to push for it.

I don't think I am the only one who wishes for this. And I think Pateron understands that having direct bank deposits for international users would benefit everyone... I guess there are some obstacles that to that otherwise they would have it already... :( But yes, sending them a couple of "motivational" emails won't hurt.
