Hello everyone,

At last, after over a month of development and about five delays, I’m proud (and relieved) to finally release Chapter 3 of Eir of Frohdiff.

First off, I want to sincerely apologize for the repeated delays. Yesterday, I let my emotions get the best of me due to stress and stubborn bugs (and somehow I posting my raw emotional post, this is not very "Myon-San" of me🥲), so I truly appreciate your patience, and I’m sorry if I seemed frustrated. That said, after thoroughly testing and squashing bugs (some of which were really strange and annoying), everything is now in working order.

Most of the issues came from a complete overhaul of the codebase, and somewhere along the way, I made small variable errors that caused big headaches. If I had rushed the release last night, the game would’ve been borderline unplayable. But I’ve now gone through everything, from Chapter 1 through Chapter 3, and I believe we’re finally ready to go (fingers crossed for no more bugs!).

This has honestly been one of the most exhausting updates I’ve worked on, but also one of the most fulfilling. I’m proud of how it turned out, and I hope you will be too.

Release Schedule

  • Public Release: August 3, 2025

You might be wondering: “Why is the public version delayed by an extra week?”
Here’s the honest answer, creating these updates takes a huge toll: long nights, migraines, and sometimes no sleep. That’s why I want to give a little more time and appreciation to my Patreon supporters, who’ve helped keep this project alive through feedback, support, and understanding. I hope the public audience can be patient just a bit longer, the full release will come, and I promise it’ll be worth the wait.

Chapter 3 Content Highlights

  • A lot of new CGs (I’ve honestly lost count!)

  • The biggest update yet, larger than Chapters 1 and 2 combined

  • Tons of satisfying FMG scenes and satisfying ending

  • 4 unique side quests that are basically FMG mini-games inside the FMG game 😄

  • So many lines of code that even my IDE is crying

  • A continuation of the main story

  • Plus extra polish, fixes, and other small improvements

You can download the bugfix on itch.io, just simply replace the index.html file, thank you for some patron whom report this bug. if there's another bug feel free to report it.

Grumbles

Am I missing something, or is the new combat scheme super grindy in chapter 1? Under rock/paper/scissors I could kill a few monsters before I had to hit the inn. With the new system I can barely kill a spider before I have to turn in for the day.
