regarding update (Patreon)

Been a while since I've posted - everything is good! I've been hard at work doing massive changes:
1) Gameplay has been simplified, by a lot. Less bloat, less things that dissociate from the story.

2) Every after-expo fight has been rewritten. A massive amount of stat checks/crit checks/Dao options have been added. High enough Constitution now allows you to shrug off most the damage (and yes, it's reflected narratively and changes the course of the fight), Agility to dodge the impossible and Strength to end fights with just a single blow. There's a big incentive now to 'specialize', since high stats are rewarded.

Moreover, spells now have crits too!

Excluding Arena fights (which I've yet to do), the additions alone increased the word count by about 12k words - that's basically one massive fight by itself.

3) Regarding the timing of the update, I can't say for sure. I still have Arena Fights to redo and 3v3 to rewrite/finish, so it will take a while.

But I promise it will be worth it;)
