Preaching to the Horse's Mouth

I think it works out well now that we know Spike can occasionally make contact with physical objects if he wants that we can square it away without having to resort to saying "it's a tv show, things don't always make sense" Although to be clear chalking things to "tv logic" is always an acceptable response.

Oh man, what great timing to get to watch this one in october! It's that time of year where i rewatch the buffy halloween episodes and I love that Angel gets this one to throw in the mix too. Like you said, its a super rewatchable one, its really fun to pick out the exact moments Lorne tells them what to do - and I enjoy drunk Wes and Fred way too much hahaha

I really like Lorne's speech about how he doesn't have the same ability to fight as everyone else in Angel Investigations but he's still part of Angel's team.

Drunk Wes & Fred are the standout here, followed very closely by Harmony on the dance floor. Just fun to watch. I like the acknowledgement that even "fun" jobs are still JOBS. They take hard work to do well, and it's easy to burn yourself out. Even without having your sleep surgically removed.

I love that Lorne is pitching a "Grapes of Wrath" in space, with laser battles and the struggle of intergalactic poverty, which, with Firefly being a year earlier, has got to be a nod to it. <3

I don't know if anyone has mentioned yet that Eve was supposed to be played by Morena Baccarin (Inara on Firefly). I wish we got that more mature sexy vibe for Eve, instead of.... what we have here
