Relatively small note just so you're not confused later on - even though they say it's a town of 50k, it's treated in reality as a town closer to 5k to 10k within the show. I think if I remember right there'd been a couple shows in this time period about small towns that failed, so the network asked Lynch to put a larger number.

Looking forward to Cassie's face blindness with a cast this large haha

Diane, it's now 12:30pm November 28th and I have just finished watching the first Cass Reacts episode of Twin Peaks. I am so excited! Been looking forward to this for awhile now. Looking forward to this reaction series continuing. Regarding the question you had in the outro-The woman whose named you missed, the waitress having an affair with Ed; her name is Norma.

Katrina T

Welp I was supposed to rewatch this with my boyfriend but.. *presses play*

Melissa Reynolds

THIS WAS SO MUCH FUN!!!!! Okay so you probably know this by now as you've watched it a couple more times but Norma is the name of the woman from the RR that Ed is seeing, and his wife is called Nadine.

The Testimony of Mushroom

This is fun. Been so long. Remember the the big answers; forgotten most of the details.

This is very exciting. I have only watched this once and that was well over a decade ago but I still remember the experience vividly. A little fun fact, the flashing lights at the morgue were not intentional but Lynch thought it added to the scene so they kept it that way. There is happy accidents like that, that contributed to the whole vibe of this show.

Wow. We can be happy if that's the only extent the suits were able to sully the show.

Twin Peaks is some of David Lynch's best work; simultaneously a police procedural, a soap opera parody, and a mystery-horror show all wrapped into one beautiful package. When it was first aired on ABC, the start of every episode featured an introduction by the "Log Lady" but for some absurd reason the intros were excised from the streaming version of the series. Lynch considered the intros to be crucial in setting the tone and providing key clues for each of the episodes. Fortunately, all of the Log Lady intros are collected in this YouTube playlist, so it may enhance your TP experience if you view them prior to watching future episodes: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLLcLbgBw_oHvKchzegPMbNeKY0CUaaEXa

I always love a show set in my home state. We definitely do have lots of nice Douglas Fir trees. Sounds like most of the actual show was filmed in studios in California, but at least the exterior shots seem to be mostly authentic footage from here.

Man, here I was thinking I could maybe dip out of the Patreon thing at the upcoming end of Angel, and here you go starting into Twin Peaks? I guess you've got me around for a little while longer! Another one of my very favourite shows.
