It's a Wonderful Life is a great movie. It is a must watch. Though I have to push for Scrooged! Why are there so few votes for it? C'mon! It is my favorite Christmas movie. I watch Scrooged and It's a Wonderful Life every year.

It’s a wonderful life is a beautiful classic and the best Christmas movie ever IMO

James Smith

I always try to watch The Muppet Christmas Carol on Christmas Eve

Cmon, if you haven't watched "It's a Wonderful Life" yet, then that has to be the winner. Its the #1 most classic christmas time movie. Although personally I would have added two more: "Miracle on 34th Street (1947)" and "White Christmas (1954)" bur you can add them to next years list

With your appreciation of horror, how is Krampus not an option? I have to agree with the others though about It's A Wonderful Life, it's probably the most iconic one, maybe rivaled by A Christmas Story, which I also recommend, if you haven't seen it.

Its A Wonderful Life is a classic and a unique story. Muppet Christmas Carol is a muppet parody of the story, which has a whole bunch of versions from the very beginning in 1901 "Scrooge" to 2022 "Spirited". The definitive version is "A Christmas Carol" 1951 version with Alastair Sim. "Scrooged" (1988) is a Groundhog Day style sarcastic comedy version of the same story, pretty good, but some people don't like being sarcastic about Christmas. "Christmas with the Kranks" is like that too, and of course National Lampoon is too. But they all end up with their hearts in the right place, of course. Except for "Bad Santa" that one was some pretty sick humor. "A Bad Moms Christmas" (2017) is hilarious, and shows the girls can make funny better than the boys.

I'm not mad It's A Wonderful Life is winning. It is a great film. The Muppet's Christmas Carol is my favourite though. I love the contrast of a relatively straight telling of the Dickens story with a serious actor in the lead, with the chaos of the muppets going on all around him.

I'm a 5th grade teacher and when my students ask me- What's your favorite Christmas movie it's always the same= 3rd Place- Elf. 2nd Place- It's a Wonderful Life. 3rd Place- Die Hard. I wish you could see the looks on their faces at the titles on that list!

If It's a Wonderful Life wins, do some research on the version you watch. I've seen some reactors watch a shorter version that cuts a lot of the main story out.
