Many years of writing kind of coming together in this story, many of which were elements I'd intended as reveals for the main Red Lantern series. At least some of you in the know will be doing the 'pointing at the screen' meme XP

You have an amazing way of writing stories. It's extremely hard to stop reading and always has me guessing to what might happen next. As someone who's been reading this series since Heretic, I see what you mean about "pointing at the screen meme". It's like every individual story is a small piece of a masterly crafted puzzle that of which portrays a living, breathing world. This is "Lord of the Rings" Good. Thank you for the Amazing content.

Loved this.. And the name drops too. I think that Reed is continually having to re-evaluate Luther, and each time the bar moves higher. I'm also sensing the instinct to comfortably work under a more capable, stronger canine that Reed is putting off. I doubt that he's really mean anyone of Luther's caliber yet.

I love the whole thing where he talks about his noble intentions but admits that he's just one man and no matter what he does, the biggest way he could EVER effect the status quo would be to inspire others
