Teleporting would be wise but let's try to remember we can fly so going above it is an option not only that but this isn't a winged dragon but for now I will go with teleporting behind the dragon to make sure we don't get hurt (this very well could be a spin attack but I'll take the risk) *I know I'm a bit late I missed the email

Geeze, we have potions and rations to spare but the love crystal is empty. Using magic (teleport as suggested) is ill advised. Flight might work, but Y.Q. would need a tactic that provides a speed advantage. On the other hand, looking for the opening in his expected strike and attacking may be our best defense. >Preemptive counter strike. [This satisfies both dodge and attack options, but at a risk. Less so, I think, than running out of options. Plus, bonus surprise attack potential for the unexpected response.]
