Since he can't produce ambient love see if he can give it directly (I said it before but I guess going to the underwater entrance took up the action).

Wait, only the young queen and her nanny know of her secret entrance, and there was clear way as to how the rock collapsed, and what kind of special tool do we need to break it? Maybe it isn't a real rock wall, maybe it's an illusion her nanny placed on the entrance! Quickly go back and check if it's really an illusion.

Hmm...check the entrance wall very closely, something feels off about the almost too convenient collaspe. Your bodyguard or nanny may have had something to do with it. Also comfort Regis, he shouldnt put so much pressure on himself like that

Ask Regis if he knows where to find a pickaxe or other mining tools.

Maybe it's time to go back to the crater where the water dragon was. Not to battle it, but to check that hidden rest area again. Maybe you can find some kind of a tool that allows you to break through the rocks that block the entrance. If not, maybe thre's still some flammable ore and barrels there to craft into another fire bomb to blow the rocks instead.

Go back to the emergency exit where a fire dragon is there. Have Regis conivence the fire dragon this is the only time he can be helpful cause he can fit though the emergency exit. You also give him your scarf and photo of your father so the changeling inside has some kind of proof to not try and attack him. Also revel to him how he would get to the hive to the water entrance so he can tell other changelings to come bring love to you and pick you up as you stay in the water entrance.

I guess checking physically checking the rock wall in 321 might be the best idea I see. I mean the fire dragon in 322 might be a changeling in disguise, but I somehow doubt it.

ambient means the immediate surroundings of something so I think a direct approach could obtain love this theory is also backed by the fact ambient love is in italics meaning it's important to remember (see log 322)

This cave features some intereting spiky stone bits. Try to break some and see if you can craft a tool strong enoug to break the rock in front of your secret entrance. If you can't do that you could just try sending some rock bits down the water to that sparkly thing, might be a changeling, who knows !

Is that... Melting ice spikes or rock spikes on the celling? Look closer to that. (Its hard to be a hero... When you are useless. But dont worry Regis even Spike is useless very often xD)

Why would a dragon need to guard a cave-in? Changelings must have a way to identify each other when transformed, right? Go take another look.
