With the heat and sun, the best thing to do right now is to rest and try to regain a bit of your energy. With the shade, at least you shouldn't be losing water as quickly. While you rest, should think about your magical training. Other than transformation, did you learn anything useful? Once the sun is closer to setting, you can try flying for a while. If your change needs energy to maintain, you might want to revert to your base form.
