Make a small mark on the base of the trees to mark your path. If you find a tree that has the mark it means you have already been here.

everfree is home to many strange creatures, some wicked, some wild, some kind but it being night might help you if you could get to higher ground and search for lights in the distance or fires that might indicate either ponyville or the shamens hut, but without shapeshifting and wings this may prove chalangeing...being up high will keep you safe from the ground bassed predators at least...and the foliage should protect you from those of the sky so you need only be concerned about those who dwell in the treetops of which there are thankfully few

English Corrections: You accepted the plant's request and promised it that you will return with help. Now you start your journey again. You walked in the direction that you believe will bring you to the Ponyville. But even though you have a better map, it's still not very useful since it isn't a GPS that can show where you are at the moment. Also the map is a country-wide one. So it doesn't show the way in this forest, and you don’t have compass to tell you a direction either. Now, not only are you lost in the forest, but the day has turned into the night. So you use the light of your new sword to guide your way though the dark just to save your magic. You are lost in the forest at nighttime. What will you do from here?

Focus on the side quest, search for any disturbances in the forest that could indicate the presence of a pony. Then track them as best you can.

they have to make little timber wolves somehow and plants have 'male' and 'female' too, its just each plant ususaly has both parts within itself, though they still need 2 diffrent parants [cause just cloneing oneself over and over leads to decay over time]
